A popular deejay died when his motorcycle slammed into a traffic island on Highway 7 in Pong.
Thawatchai Kunawutpornchai, 22, suffered a broken neck when his Honda CBR 650cc bike hit the rail on the center median at high speed Feb. 22 at the 118-119 kilometer marker heading toward Chonburi.
A popular deejay and event host in Pattaya, Thawatchai was on his way to meet friends in Bangsaen Beach. Friends driving on the highway said he was speeding and had swerved to avoid hitting something in the road before losing control and crashing.
