Pattaya Fellowship Church hosted a Christmas party for 40 Nongprue families with special-needs or disabled children.
Pattama Chanchiew, director of the Nongprue Social Welfare Division, and Nomkamol Stewed, a representative from the church charity foundation helping children, the poor, and less fortunate, hosted the Dec. 18 party at Nongprue Public Park.
The Christian church used the occasion to spread the word of Jesus to the attendees, using activities such as question-and-answer games, storytelling, and ball sports.
The charity also handed out bags of rice, dried foods, toys and home supplies worth 20,000 baht to each family.
