Pattaya jumper talked down to safety

Pattaya police talked down a woman threatening to throw herself off the roof of a guesthouse.

The 23-year-old woman, identified only as Kanitta, had threatened to commit suicide by jumping from the sixth-floor roof of the Yuri Guest House in Jomtien Beach.

Witnesses said the woman had been arguing with her boyfriend and was stressed.
