PATTAYA, Thailand – At Pattaya Technical College, Mrs. Warunee Ruangkaew, Director of Public Health Services for Pattaya City, led a mobile health unit as part of the “Healthy & Happy” campaign, aiming to screen and detect silent health threats in the Rong Mai Kheed community. The initiative targeted 100 residents, promoting better health awareness.
The event provided various free health screenings, including blood sugar and cholesterol tests, kidney function assessments, lung X-rays, and screenings for colon cancer, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. Residents turned out in large numbers to take advantage of these essential health services.
Health results will be sent to participants via private Line messages, with follow-up calls for those requiring further medical attention. The campaign emphasizes early detection and proactive healthcare through high-accuracy blood tests.
The next mobile screening will take place on March 19 at Wat Kratheung Thong in Jomtien from 9:00 AM onwards. Residents nearby are encouraged to participate. Future screening locations will be announced on the PR Pattaya Facebook page.
