The Pattaya Mail celebrated our 25th anniversary with a religious ceremony at our offices on July 23, the day we published our first newspaper in 1993.

Nine monks from Wat Sawangfa Phruetharam Temple, led by Phra Khru Sangkharaksa Monthon Sumano chanted prayers and bestowed blessings on the company staff and all those who attended.

Pratheep Malhotra, founder of the Pattaya Mail Media Group officiated at the ceremonies, while his sons Kamolthep ‘Prince’ and Suwanthep ‘Tony’ along with our Pattaya Mail family participated in the prayer sessions.

Many relatives and business partners also joined the event to celebrate a quarter century of publishing news and events on the Eastern Seaboard.

Peter said, “On this historic occasion of our 25th anniversary, I bow in humble gratitude to all that is sacred for giving us the strength and courage to carry out our noble work thus far. We pray that we are granted even more strength in our resolve to continue to serve our community for as long as we possibly can.

“We promise to continue to give the best of news and information to our loyal readers for a long time to come. I couldn’t have done it without all of you, our readers, our advertisers, our supporters, our critics and our friends. Thank you for giving all of us here at Pattaya Mail the opportunity to serve you.
