Pattaya Mail staff mourns loss of colleague’s mother

The staff of the Pattaya Mail turned out to mourn the death of the mother of the paper’s head of the graphics department at her funeral at Photisamphan Temple Feb. 12&13.

Samran Suansuk, 58, passed away Feb. 9 after taking ill about two weeks before. She had been suffering of diabetes and hypertension.

Pattaya Mail Media Group Managing Director Pratheep “Peter” Malhotra and other top company executives led mourners in commemorating Samran, who was remembered as gentle, polite and kindhearted. Four monks expressed love and gratitude for her and poured ceremonial water as a sign of dedication for merit.

Samran was the mother of Boonsiri “King” Suansuk, head of the Pattaya Mail’s graphics department. He said losing her was like “losing my heart in the wind.”
