Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngamphichet (left) expressed admiration for Prawit Thitkratok (center) a local motorcycle taxi driver, for his commendable act of kindness in returning a lost purse to Kasina Siripitakchai (right), its rightful owner.

At the recently concluded Pattaya Community Pride 2023 event, Prawit, a 44-year-old resident of Nakhon Phanom province, happened upon a red women’s purse while enjoying his day off, exploring the scenic beauty of Jomtien Beach.

Realizing the distress that the purse’s owner must be experiencing, he decided to bring it to the Pattaya Community Pride event, with the hopes of reuniting it with its rightful owner.

The purse, belonging to 21-year-old tourist Kasina Siripitakchai from Bangkok, held not only cash but also vital documents. Kasina, who is also pregnant, had been visiting her boyfriend stationed in Sattahip and had entrusted the money her boyfriend had given her to the purse.

As soon as Kasina noticed her purse was missing, she promptly reported the incident to the event organizers. Fortunately, they were able to assure her that a responsible citizen had already found and returned her purse. The organizers verified her identity by cross-checking her ID card, ensuring the purse was indeed returned to its rightful owner.
