Nongprue quickly dredged Pattaya-area canals to keep up with the ongoing rainy-season floods.
Using shovels and a backhoe, workers scraped out the Nongprue Canal Oct. 26, which has filled with soil and natural debris washed downhill during the most recent storms.
The subdistrict Engineering Department plans to do similar work on all area canals.
