Pattaya’s government-operated pawn shop has cut interest rates and extended redemption periods to help the downtrodden during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Interest rates through June 30 were cut to 0.125 baht per month for principle over 5,000 baht, and the redemption period has been extended from five to eight months.
