Pattaya police learned investigation techniques to improve their crime-fighting abilities.

Pol. Maj. Gen Thitirat Nonghanpithak, commissioner of the Central Investigation Bureau, chaired the Sept. 7 seminar at the Long Beach Garden Hotel & Spa.

The commander was welcomed by Pol. Maj. Gen. Akaradet Pimolsri, chief of the Crime Suppression Division, and other high ranking Royal Thai Police officers.

The four-day training program for 150 local officers and an additional 50 CIB investigators covered how to track criminals, question and approach suspects, use technology to support criminal cases, plan investigations, and use special equipment.
