The Pattaya Police Station has opened a public-service booth to better assist residents and business owners.
Region 2 police commander Lt Gen Tha-ngai Pratchsachaksattroo cut the ribbon on the new service center Nov. 19. The opening followed a ceremony in which nine Buddhist monks from Chaimongkol temple prayed for Pattaya officers who had died in the past year.
Officials prepare to cut the ribbon on the new police public-service booth.
The service center comes in response to Tha-ngai’s call for police stations to create more confidence and trust in the community by offering additional free public services. The new room is just inside the Soi 9 station.
