Kids were taught to honk the horn repeatedly so they will be discovered if they happened to be locked inside any vehicle.

Pattaya police taught little kids what to do in case they get locked in their parents’ car.
Pol. Lt. Col. Kirkrit Saiwanna and Pol. Lt. Col. Arut Sapanon visited Pattaya School No. 5 Sept. 21 to train preschoolers ages 2-4 what to do if they get locked in a hot car.

Principal Narumon Intapong helped keep the tots quiet as the officers demonstrated the lessons. Children were implored to stay calm if they get locked in and not panic.

Kirkrit said young children may not be able to unlock or open a door and could die of heat stroke before they are found. So the kids were taught to honk the horn repeatedly so they will be discovered.
Training is planned at other Pattaya schools.
