Pattaya has restarted monthly meetings between the heads of all the city’s public schools following June’s change in administration.
City Manager Wuthipol Charoenpol chaired the first meeting of the School Information System Advance panel since military-appointed leaders took over Pattaya when the terms of its elected mayor and city council members expired June 16.
He said the meetings were relaunched so that the Education Department can be updated with current activities and important information regarding the happenings in the schools of Pattaya.
Directors of each school will have to make a report every meeting, especially if there are urgent matters so that the members of the Education Department can provide support, Wuthipol said.
Any issues discovered will then be discussed in a future meeting.
