Pattaya School No. 11 showed off more than 200 inventions, experiments and surveys created by students as part of the institution’s “project-based learning” program.
Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome presided over the opening ceremony for the school’s Feb. 12 open house with Principal Jirasak Jitsom and top city and provincial officials.

School No. 11 adopted the project-based learning curriculum to encourage teachers to organize learning activities in eight integrated learning groups to develop the independent knowledge and abilities of students.
The open house featured 203 projects completed by the students divided into 50 surveys, 18 experiments and 134 inventions.
The exhibition also included a talk on learning management through project integration, Impromptu speeches both in Thai and English, stage performances, an arts exhibition, games, academic advice given by various education institutes, career development, and a Thai country song contest participated in by 50 schools.
