A good-hearted Pattaya taxi driver made the day of a foreign passenger when he returned a forgotten mobile phone.
Nikom Tosawad, 52, handed over the phone to the unidentified passenger at Royal Garden Plaza Jan. 15.
Nikom said he’d taken the woman from Pratamnak Hill to the mall and later discovered the phone in the back. He returned to Royal Garden, but couldn’t find the passenger. So he contacted the taxi-dispatch center.
Soon Somjai Warren, a friend of the passenger, contacted him and they arranged to meet.
The passenger said the phone was not expensive, but contained contacts and memories, so she was glad to get it back. She gave the driver a reward.
