Pattaya City Hall is taking its “no plastic, no foam” campaign on the road.
Two days after meeting with civil servants and public school officials, telling them to drop foam food containers and adopt bags and boxes made of biodegradable materials, Environment Department staffers visited the Lan Po Market to deliver the same message to vendors there.
The workers also organized a park and market cleanup and vendors to do a better job of keeping their area cleaner.
