City workers have begun replacing water mains on Soi Khopai after complaints about shortages.
Workers began work Jan. 27 on the densely populated residential street with work scheduled to last 10 days.
The 1.4 million baht project will see the existing 20-centimeter-wide pipes replaced with 31.5-cm. pipes.
Sutat Noochpan, manager of the Pattaya Waterworks Department, said there previously have been complaints water did not run continuously.
People might want to avoid commuting through Soi Khopai during construction.
