Pattaya, Thailand – In the early hours of August 29, a team of police officers and undercover personnel initiated a targeted operation on Pattaya Beach aimed at enhancing safety and preventing potential illicit activities that might transpire during late-night hours.
The operation was specifically directed at groups of teenagers congregating on the beach during the late evening. The police team employed specialized detection devices capable of uncovering concealed weapons or illegal substances among the teenagers. This measure aimed to preempt any potential conflicts or disturbances within the teenage groups while concurrently ensuring the overall safety of the environment.
Although the operation did not yield any discoveries of prohibited items, law enforcement authorities capitalized on the opportunity to reiterate a stipulation that children under 18 years of age should refrain from roaming the beaches after 8 p.m. In instances where minors below 18 were found on the beach during those hours, their parents or guardians would be contacted immediately to urge their children to return home.
