PATTAYA, Thailand – A heated confrontation involving two groups of Middle Eastern tourists, all Kuwaitis, erupted in Soi Yensabai, South Pattaya on August 7. The incident, which occurred at 11 p.m., saw approximately 20 tourists from each group engage in a loud and aggressive argument, with tensions escalating to the point where they appeared ready to physically attack each other.

Local residents, alarmed by the situation, captured video footage of the chaotic scene, which they later handed over to the police as evidence. Witnesses, including staff members from a nearby restaurant, recounted that the two groups had initially been seated at separate tables within the establishment. Although the exact cause of the argument remains unclear, the confrontation quickly intensified.

Restaurant staff members attempted to calm the situation, successfully defusing the initial tension. However, shortly after leaving the restaurant, the groups reconvened in the narrow alleyway of Soi Yensabai, where the argument flared up once again, prompting witnesses to call the police.

However, the swift response of the police ensured that the situation was brought under control before it could escalate further. No injuries were reported.
