Police are searching for a gunman who shot a Laem Chabang messenger six times in Naklua.
Kengkla Kitthumcharoen, 29, was found slumped over his motorbike Aug. 6 near the Wuthikorn construction materials outlet in Soi Tongkao 5. He had suffered shots to the throat, stomach and arms and was in critical condition at Somdej Ratchthewi Na Sriracha Hospital.
Witnesses reported that a dark-skinned man in his mid-20s wearing a baseball cap and riding a red-black Honda Wave 110 motorbike shot Kengkla. He had been chasing the victim at high speed before opening fire and fleeing.
Kengkla’s sister, Chaweewan, said her brother was a messenger for a Laem Chabang factory and had left home earlier to shop in South Pattaya. Police said she also said her brother often got into fights and was previously arrested for drug use.
Police are investigating to determine the motive and shooter.
