Area police arrested 74 people and seized more than 5,000 methamphetamine tablets in a province-wide crime sweep May 21.
Police station chiefs assembled the next day at Banglamung Police Station to show off the fruit of their labors, which also included 1.9 grams of crystal methamphetamine, six guns, 16 bullets and 30 motorbikes.
Chonburi police chief, Pol. Maj. Gen. Nitipong Niamnoi said the cleanup operation would continue throughout the province to weed out as many criminals as possible. He said police will carefully plan raids on suspected homes or known hideouts harboring criminals.

Police announced that any stolen property recovered is in safekeeping at the Chonburi police headquarters and can be claimed back by their rightful owners.
