Pattaya – Pattaya police have urged motorcyclists to use steering and wheel locks to prevent motorbike theft.

Pol. Lt. Sangwan Phupuang led a July 21 outreach at the Fly Bird Flea Market on Soi Land Office. Bikes are most often stolen at markets and outside apartment and condominium buildings, he said. Many people leave their motorbikes unlocked because they either feel safe at home or plan to be at a market only a short time.

He also advocated smartphone users download the “Police I Love You” app to use in case of emergencies.
