Pong Sub-district residents were given free checkups and eye exams through a government-sponsored outreach effort.
Doctors and nurses from the Queen Sirikit Hospital in Sattahip joined Pong municipal officials Feb. 19 to provide diabetes checks, blood pressure checks, and eye exams. Health officers also provided advice on common diseases, prevention and treatment.
A wide variety of residents took advantage of the event, including monks, disabled citizens, village chiefs and public employees.
Queen Sirikit Hospital physicians and nurses are ready to serve the people.
