Soi Korphai Community President Wirat Joyjinda had complained about several large holes that had opened near the Kua Sangjan restaurant before workers showed up with asphalt and crushed rock to resurface the pock-marked roadway.

The city asked for understanding for the time it takes the pothole patrol to show up, as repeated flooding has done substantial damage throughout the city.
