After many years of using Pattaya as a base to prepare flood-relief bags for flood-hit areas across Thailand, the Princess Pa Foundation directed supplies to Pattaya after it was devastated by tropical depression Vamco last month.
Representing HRH Princess Soamsawalee, foundation Vice President Apai Jantanajulka presented emergency supplies to Chonburi Deputy Gov. Chawalit Saeng-Uthai, Banglamung District Chief Chakorn Kanjawattana and Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome Sept. 22 at the Sawang Boriboon Foundation headquarters in Naklua.

Chakorn said many area residents are still suffering from the aftereffects of Vamco. Thus HRH Princess Soamsawalee directed bags of relief supplies to flood victims in the Pattaya area.
Bags were given to 545 victims with another 25 bags going to elderly and disabled residents.
For years, most of the Princess Pa Foundation’s relief efforts have been directed to the northern and central regions, with supply bags packed at U-Tapao-Rayong-Pattaya airport.
