Sattahip rescue workers rushed to the scene of a possible drowning, but this time it was a puppy in distress.
Navy Sgt. Weeraporn Bamnetphan called rescuers to tell them a lost young poodle had fallen into a water-filled sewer and needed help.
They arrived to find the dirty pooch at the bottom of the two-meter-deep basin at the navy housing complex. They pulled it out and gave it food and water.
Weeraporn said she didn’t realize the dog was there until she heard barking coming from somewhere in the backyard.
Little Poopsie Snookums fell in a sewer and had to be pulled out by Sattahip rescue workers.
