Heavy rain that blanketed most of Thailand created the usual flooding havoc in Pattaya.
Three hours of rain late Sept. 20 created pools of standing water up to 1.3 meters deep in some areas.
Traffic along the railway-parallel road was particularly bad.
The rain eased around midnight and within an hour vehicles on most streets were able to move again.
