A Rayong industrial worker was killed when she was crushed by a concrete truck and dragged under the vehicle.
Samneng Suknulearm, 37, was driving a Honda motorbike at the intersection of Soi Wat Thepprasart and Soi Wat Kao Kanthamart in Rayong when the cement-mixer truck backed into her. Oblivious to hitting the bike, driver Sayan Dokkaorum, 26, continued into the construction site, the Amata City Industrial Estate employee and her bike still pinned underneath.
Once Sayan became aware of the tragedy, he fled the scene to avoid police.
Sayan eventually contacted police to arrange for his surrender, but police said they still would be pursuing an arrest warrant for reckless driving resulting in death.
