An elderly Pattaya woman is looking for a homeless man she claims stole her dog.
Boonmee Pluemjai, 60, alleged in a police complaint that 8-year-old Pok Pak was taken by Somart Suanmali, a 28-year-old beggar, around 11 p.m. Aug. 27.
She said he had come to play with the dog and took it while she wasn’t looking.
The woman said she thought Somart would bring the dog back, but eventually reported the theft to police and put up flyers.
