Road closures will begin at 9 a.m. Oct. 26 to allow mourners to pay respects and lay artificial flowers on Banglamung District’s scale replica of the huge funeral pyre in Bangkok.

South Road from Sukhum­vit Road to the Communications Center junction will allow inbound traffic only and no parking anywhere. All traffic will be blocked on South Road from the Communications Center to the temple.

Second Road from South Road to Soi 15 will see right-hand lane closed.

All of Soi Buakhao from South Road to the Grand Hall Market will be blocked and one-way inbound traffic allowed between the market and Central Road.

The only exception to the road closures will be baht buses contracted to provide shuttle services from various parking lots.

Parking will be available at Pattaya schools No. 2, 5, 7, 8 and 9; Banglamung and Photisampan schools; Jitta­pawan College; Nong Yai, Boonkanjanaram Krating­thong and Khao Phra Yai temples; Tesco-Lotus North and South Pattaya; Big C Extra, Makro South Pattaya, Central Festival Pattaya Beach, Royal Garden Plaza and Central Marina malls, the Hollywood disco and Mum Aroi restaurant, the old X-Zyte car park on Pattaya 3rd Road, and the Tawanna Market on Beach Road (past Hard Rock).
