PATTAYA, Thailand – The Rotary E-Club Dolphin International Pattaya organized a special day for children at Elephant Village in east Pattaya on March 31. Led by the club’s founders, Dr. Margaret Deter and Dr. Otmar Deter, alongside club members and volunteers, the event aimed to provide a memorable experience for children from the Child Protection and Development Center (CPDC), under the care of the HHN Foundation Thailand.
The day commenced with a visit to a mini zoo, offering children the opportunity to interact with various animals and learn about wildlife conservation. A highlight of the day was an exhilarating elephant ride across the canal, allowing the children to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.
Organizers ensured that the children had a chance to cultivate empathy towards animals, with activities including a captivating Fantasy Show and a delicious lunch.
