A Russian man was detained for allegedly trying to rape a bargirl in a wooded area off Third Road.
Andrey Ignatyev, 50, was found hiding in the bushes near Chareonyon Ltd. March 31. He was bleeding from the head after being hit with a rock by Narisra Reikratok of Kornburi, who claimed he had attacked her.
Narisra said she met Ignatyev at the Toi Bar on Soi 6 and had agreed to go with him to his hotel. On the way, however, he pulled her into the woods and tried to rape her, she told police.
Ignatyev told officers he had paid to take her out of the bar but couldn’t take the woman to his hotel, as his wife was there. So he tried to have sex with her in the woods.
Police were still deciding whether to file charges against the injured Russian.
Andrey Ignatyev is carted off to jail after allegedly trying to become amorous in the woods with the bar girl he had just bar fined. Now he has to face the wrath of his wife.
