A Russian tourist was killed after being struck by a motorbike in Jomtien Beach.
The unidentified Russian, believed to be in his 60s, died instantly in the March 8 accident near the U-turn in front of the Ambassador City Hotel.
Police said Rampung Thepwarin, 39, and her 19-year-old daughter Sudarath were traveling at high speed on Sukhumvit Road toward Sattahip when they hit the man.
The bike crashed and both suffered minor injuries for which they were treated at Queen Sirikit Naval Medical Center.
