A Russian man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his former business partner in Pattaya.
Oleg Martynov, 60, was captured at the neighboring “Pecktopah” on Soi Pattaya Park, across the street from where he allegedly stabbed Sanna Greenburn, 36, once in the stomach Oct. 9.
The Russian woman was treated for her injury at Pattaya Memorial Hospital.
Witness Patchama Krajaem, 57, told police Greenburn was the owner of Pizzora S and working for her as well. She said the two Russians had been partners in a business back home.
However, the two often were involved in conflicts due to what Patchama suspected was jealously over who attracted more customers. Now in Pattaya, Greenburn was apparently doing better than Martynov, inflaming him further, she added.
Tensions boiled over turning into an argument before the stabbing, Patchama claimed.
