South Pattaya residents are complaining about homeless people living under the Bali Hai flyover disturbing the peace and threatening their safety.
Locals who didn’t provide their names contacted the media to complain about the indigent men and women living under the bridge, saying they often are intoxicated on alcohol and from sniffing paint thinner.
Many get loud and violent, making residents fearful of walking in the area after dark.
A daytime check on the area found numerous empty beer and whiskey bottles as well as thinner containers.
Residents hope that by publicizing their concerns that city officials and police will take action.
