A sailor driving fast and furiously through Sattahip was in critical condition after rolling his LPG-powered Mazda.
Warrant Officer Sapachai Chaimee, 58, was listed in critical condition at Queen Sirikit Naval Medical Center July 8 following the accident near the Taothan intersection in Khet Udomsak.
Witnesses said the sailor was racing toward the Sattahip Naval Base when he lost control of the car, causing it to flip and roll several times.
Medics had to turn off the liquid petroleum gas flow before they could rescue the driver.
