A sailor was injured after falling and spending the night in a Sattahip sewer.
Sawang Rojanadhammasathn Foundation rescuers pulled Petty Officer First Class Aran Panprasert, 51, out of the meter-deep trench around 8:30 a.m. May 11. He had been unable to move and was suffering from lying in water all night and sent to Queen Sirikit Naval Medical Center for treatment.

The sailor said he’d been out for a walk the night before an inexplicably passed out, falling into the open sewer behind a building on the Sattahip Navy Base.
Due to a health condition, he said he was unable to move and too weak to call for help, so he simply waited until someone came by the next day.
