Sattahip marked a week since His Majesty the King’s death with an “apidhamm” (funeral prayer) ceremony.
District Chief Noraset Sritapatso led the many navy officers, policemen, local authorities, village chiefs and private citizens to Sattahip Temple where Abbot Tassaneeyakhunakorn had 30 monks chant for the late monarch.
He read the seven scriptures for HM the King and gave attendees the opportunity to make merit, offer alms and provide meals for monks.
