Sattahip police have arrested a recently released ex-convict and four minions for allegedly again dealing methamphetamines to teenagers.

Suspected dealer A-non Chaimongkol, 22, and alleged runners Tawwsap Pichitpaiwan, 22, Boripat Duangjai, 18, and Tosaporn Bunpluk, 17, were apprehended by Sattahip Special Affairs Against Drugs officers April 10. Three ya ba tablets were seized.

Police said A-non confessed that he’d returned to drug dealing in the month since he’d been released from prison where he’d be serving a sentence for narcotics. He said he’d tried to find honest work, but couldn’t, and that he needed money to take care of his girlfriend’s new baby.

A-non allegedly told police he’d gone to work for a big Plutaluang dealer identified only as “Jae Gik,” who exploited 14-18-year-olds for drugs at higher prices than normal. However, the plan backfired when 10 young customers attacked Jae April 9, sending him to the Queen Sirikit Hospital and stealing 400 ya ba pills.

A-non is now cooperating with police to arrest Jae.
