Sattahip’s district chief has swapped positions with a counterpart in Sa Kaeo.
Klitsanapan Dejkrut, 59, of Wang Somboon District in the Cambodian border province, swapped chairs with Noraset Sritapatso on July 25 to become Sattahip’s 27th chief administrator.
District employees welcomed their new boss and his wife Pawinee, who takes over as chairwoman of the Sattahip Red Cross.
The Nakhon Sawan native likely won’t be in the job very long. Klitsanapan turns 60 on June 27 next year, setting him up for mandatory retirement by Oct. 1.
He is a graduate of Ramkhamhaeng and Wongchawalitakul universities and began his government career as secretary in Akat Amnuai District in Sakhon Nakhon in 1985. He worked many years in Na Bon District in Nakhon Si Thammarat before taking over in Sang Somboon.
Noraset began his term in Sattahip in November 2015 after serving in Sung Men District in Phrae Province. It’s unknown why he did not serve his normal two-year term in Sattahip.
