Khet Udomsak residents sent a caravan of supplies to help impoverished hill-tribe people in northern Thailand.
Pairoj Malakul Na Ayutthaya, mayor of the Sattahip sub-district, led a Jan. 15 merit-making ceremony for the 13-car parade carrying basic necessities and a solar-power system to Baan Na Doi School in Sop Moei District of Mae Hong Son.

The vehicles carried construction materials and four sets of solar panels, with plans to build 10 additional bathrooms at the school. Currently the facility has only three restrooms for 200 staff and students.
The power system will improve the way of life for students at the school, who also require basic foodstuffs and necessities.
