More than 100 homeowners in Sattahip’s Country Hill development are without water despite paying what they call excessive bills to property managers.
Sattahip Police Superintendent Col. Chonapat Naowalak took complaints from residents Dec. 2 after the East Water Co. cut off service to the village.
Royal Thai Navy Lt. Chaiyamongkol Phuthawang said the utility told him that Country Hill’s managers had not paid their bills even though he and other residents had been paying exorbitant rates of up to 21 baht per measured unit, far above East Water’s normal rates.
Sattahip’s Country Hill development villagers are without water despite paying excessive bills to property managers.
The water system to the development is internally managed, with East Water charging one rate to the management for service to the entire neighborhood.
Country Hill development managers were not available for comment.
Chonapat said he is talking with the sub-district government to help resolve the matter.
