A scaffolding collapse at an under-construction hotel in North Pattaya caused property damage of more than 100,000 baht, but no injuries.

Following heavy rain, light posts and metal scaffolding crumpled July 26, plummeting through the roof of the next-door P-Tech Air Conditioning. Several air-conditioning units worth about 100,000 baht total were damaged by water.

P-Tech owner Pornthep Phupatwattanakul said he was asleep on the top floor of the building when the incident occurred and it was raining heavily that night with strong wind.
