A Serbian man died of a suspected suicide in Huay Yai.
The body of Ila Veselovski, 28, was found lying on his bed in an apartment on Soi Wat Yansangwararam Jan. 5. Nearby were five used syringes, three unused and several full and empty bottles of an unknown drug.
A suicide note addressed to a man named Dave also was found with US$2,400 and a plea that no one interfere with his body.
Police planned to interview friends and family before officially declaring the death a suicide.
