Pattaya’s Sikh Temple hosted a 48-hour prayer ceremony in bereavement for the late HM the King.
Pattaya Sikh Community leader Amrik Singh Kalra led a large group of Indian-Thai nationals in the Oct. 21-23 ceremony in which 1,430 pages of scripture was read.
All attending were dressed in mourning colors, and other activities included merit-making and food offerings.
Vegetarian food was available for the public and the poor in the morning and similar offerings will take place until further notice.
