Third Road was inundated with flooding up to a meter deep, creating a traffic mess of stalled cars.
Heavy rain Oct. 24 resulted in widespread flooding that took longer than usual to drain. As a result, Third Road was hardest hit, with a car breaking down right in the middle of the intersection near the Mum Aroi restaurant.
Other cars and motorbikes also stalled, bogging the entire area down in soggy gridlock.
Passersby helped move the cars to the side of the road, but it took more than an hour for things to return to normal.
