The Pattaya Community Welfare Fund paid the annual dividend from its “One Baht a Day” savings program to residents of the Soi Kophai Community.
The neighborhood’s juristic person, Somboon Wattanamongkol, told residents that this year’s average dividend was 27 baht per share. The payout per investor depended on how many shares they bought.
This fund aims to provide welfare support for medical, convalescent and death expenses for only one baht a day. It also serves as a revolving loan fund for emergencies. Currently, he said, the city fund has 1,538 members and pays dividends annually.
Residents fill in forms to receive their dividends from the Pattaya Community Welfare Fund.
