A Samae San squid wholesaler was arrested for allegedly selling drugs with his seafood.
Wirat Sukdamran, 31, was taken into custody at his stall at the Samae San Market July 12. A search of his person and shop uncovered 52 methamphetamine tablets and 1.7 grams of crystal meth.
He was ratted out by Prawat Preamsri, 23, who had been arrested earlier for both consuming and selling drugs. Prawat told police that the squid vendor was his supplier.
Sattahip District officials said Wirat confessed and named “Aod Nongkrajong” as his supplier, but the larger drug dealer has already fled the area.
