An elderly street vendor was hurt after her cart was stuck by a speeding car in Pattaya.
Sanom Srisakul, 58, was found lying motionless in the street near Soi 6 around 2 a.m. Aug. 25. She was transported to Banglamung Hospital.
Motorcycle taxi drivers who witnessed the accident said Pookrit Rungchanon, 33, was speeding between cars on a motorbike when Sanom pushed her cart through to cross the street.
Pookrit also was hospitalized and was set to be questioned by police.
