A distressed Surin woman tried to kill herself from jumping from the “Pattaya City” sign.
Jaranya Chiedrum, 35, was drunk and rambling hysterically about her mother when rescuers showed up at the South Pattaya landmark Oct. 9.
Witnesses kept talking to Jaranya to stop her from jumping and authorities eventually were able to calm her down and take her away from danger.
